The 2nd Annual Bacardi Spirit Forward Women Empowerment Series kicks off in Chicago on April 1st, heads to Los Angeles on April 23rd and will culminate in New York on April 30th. The 2nd Annual Spirit Forward series has partnered with PUNCH to celebrate female leaders and entrepreneurs with a focus on the hospitality industry.

This empowering summit will feature inspiring speakers from the hospitality, fitness, finance and entertainment worlds to provide enriching personal and professional education through panels, networking opportunities, hands-on workshops and more. As true champions of individuals across all genders, race, cultures, and geographies, the team behind the Series believes members of the spirits and hospitality industry and beyond will benefit greatly both professionally and personally.

This year’s programming is centered on the theme of “originality” and how it informs everything from the creative process to problem-solving bigger issues plaguing the hospitality industry. Speakers include Chef Missy Robbins, the 2018 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef New York, cookbook author and New York Times columnist Alison Roman, and award-winning female bartenders from around the country. Returning advocates from last years series include The Financial Gym, activist Ashtin Berry, and Causing a Stir co-founders Alexis Brown and Ariel Neal. The Bacardi Portfolio Ambassadors will be hosting the summit along with the Official MC of Spirit Forward - comedian and Chicago bartender Siobhan Tuck.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Dress For Success — a not-for-profit dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to succeed in work and life.
