LA Food+Wine Opening Night 2018

Now in its eighth year, the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival is a five-day event showcasing the finest in food and drink culture around Los Angeles. Saturday night was the kick off event along Grand Avenue, but the festival spans across the city so you can sample dishes from some of the best culinary talent! Some highlights included the Affogato Cocktail from Mr. Bartender, the Strawberry and Shrimp ceviche from Patina Restaurant, and Chef Robert Irvine's Vaca Frita tacos  - crispy pulled beef and pickled veggies lightly drizzled with a chipotle lime vinagrette. So delicious! The theme for the night was Taco Takedown so its safe to say I ate my weight in tacos.
