LA Coffee Brand, Grounds & Hounds Gives Pups A Second Chance

This October we’ve found a cool and caffeinated way to celebrate National Rescue Month. Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co. is a 100% organic and fair-trade certified coffee brand that believes that great coffee can fuel an even greater purpose. They brew specialty grade coffee from the top growing regions around the world, including places like Peru and Columbia. That’s not even the best part though, this company is much more than just a coffee company. They brew their coffee with a very special mission in mind. 

 In 2014, Jordan Karcher, the founder of Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co, rescued his pup, Molly the Dalmatian, on a side street here in Santa Monica. This sparked inspiration for his company and his mission to help our furry four-legged friends. He started Grounds & Hounds out here in LA and through the sale of their delicious brews, they help to provide a second chance for pups by donating 20% of all profits to rescue organizations throughout the country. Grounds & Hounds works hard to make the second-chance mission for pups a reality. So far, Grounds & Hounds has provided over 1.5 million shelter meals, over 3,000 toys, 2,000 vaccines, 500 spay/neuter surgeries, 1,500 microchips, and 2,000 at risk pet transfers to pups in need.
