The mother-daughter pair, Diana and Alexandra, crafted a completely clean skin care line. From serums, toners, and moisturizers, their products are oil based and cut out the harsh chemical ingredients unlike so many other lines. They truly believe in delivering natural ingredients to all skin types, ultimately aiming to give your skin the glow it deserves. We got to ask them some questions about their journey, work dynamic, products, and all that BELLA Skin Beauty has to offer!
What sets your skin beauty products apart from others in the market?
Our BELLA. Skin Beauty line is based on several very important principals, and the combination of those truly sets us apart from other skincare lines. First, it is a completely clean line. Skin is our biggest organ and everything that is applied to it gets delivered to our bloodstream very quickly so we wanted to make sure that only the cleanest, purest, most effective healing ingredients are included. The second principal is based on inflammation and the role it plays in our lives and our bodies. Every disease or skin condition is inflammation of some sort that manifests itself as a disease. The most important thing we can do is reduce the inflammation in our bodies through anti-inflammatory foods, detoxing, meditation, exercise, etc.. and eliminating inflammation caused by the use of toxic skin and hair products. The third main principal is that our skincare is designed for men and women of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds and skin types. BELLA Skin Beauty is a mostly oil-based line. Unlike chemical ingredients, oils and real nature-derived ingredients replicate the wisdom of nature. They fight inflammation, soothe and detoxify, allowing our bodies to repair and rejuvenate on their own. We always say “healing ingredients don’t discriminate”.
I love that Bella Skin Beauty is a mother daughter team. Tell us a little bit more about your dynamic and how you work together. What inspired you to get into business together?
We love working together so it was a no-brainer for us. We are very close in many ways and we have very different areas of expertise, so that makes it much more efficient. We make all the decisions together but we are responsible for different things. BELLA. Skin Beauty was born out of a complete alignment with how we both live our lives and the desire to help, educate and provide cleaner yet incredibly effective options to women and men of all ages.
Diana, how has being an expert in wellness and experimenting with different supplements, clean eating, and meditation influenced how you approach your skin care regiment?
I believe in a whole body approach - everything is connected. You cannot just eat healthy anti-inflammatory foods, yet still use products made with ingredients that are harmful to your body. Therefore I have taken skincare very seriously for many years and I have been using clean products on my skin and in my home for but could never truly find something that would satisfy me on every level. That is why I educated and immersed myself in studying this field and how BELLA. Skin Beauty products were born. I originally created the line for myself after I turned 40 with every requirement that I had. I wanted to love every product from the same line. And that is what we see with our customers. The majority use every product from our line in perfect synergy to heal and rejuvenate their skin.
Alexandra, how has being a model shaped your approach to skin care and your business with your Mom?
Modeling can be so hard on your skin. Having makeup put on you almost every day for hours at a time can really take a hit, especially since most makeup artists are not using clean products. My skin happens to be very sensitive to anything and everything, so you can imagine what my skin looks like after just one day in full makeup. Since modeling is something that I truly love doing, there isn’t anything I could do about the makeup being put on me, so instead, I decided to start using clean skincare to help my face detoxify and recover. To all the women out there who model, or have makeup being put on them every day, I highly recommend using the cleanest possible skincare to help your face recover from it. I am truly lucky to own a business that is all about being clean, pure and safe. I really hope that the makeup artists in the modeling industry start to incorporate clean makeup and skincare into their kits because our skin is our largest organ and it absorbs everything that we put on it.
What are three steps that everyone should include in their skincare routine?
The 3 most important steps in a skincare routine are Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing. We recommend you cleanse your face with our Turmeric Guava Glowing Cleanser first - it will clean, moisturize and leave your skin glowing. Then comes our Rose Neroli Toner - a super important step that most people miss unfortunately. The toner actually changes the pH of your skin allowing the serum/face oil to absorb into your skin 50% more than without the toner. If you are not toning with a proper non-alcoholic moisturizing toner, then most of the moisturizer you put on is actually sitting on the top layer of your skin clogging your pores and, of course, you are not getting any of the healing nutrients that your face oil has to offer. The next step is always moisturizing. We believe it’s very important to use The Eye Serum. Ours is super gentle and potent. You only need 1 drop for both eyes to bring the nourishment and healing to that gentle under-eye area. After The Eye Serum has been applied, we recommend one of our amazing serums. Our serums are actually full moisturizers that will keep your skin nourished for up to 10 hours. You can either use our Beauty Serum which is a beautiful combination of 20 healing oils OR our Vitamin C serum which is a full moisturizer anti-aging serum. Now if you want to take your skincare routine a little deeper, make sure you exfoliate with our amazing healing Manuka Coffee Face Scrub a couple of times per week.

If you are a first time BELLA. Skin Beauty customer - we recommend you start with our Beauty Serum which is a moisturizer that can be used morning and night. We’ve also had a lot of customers start with our Rose Neroli Toner and then went on to use all of our other products.
Tell us a little bit more about your key ingredients and their impact on the skin.
BELLA. Skin Beauty products are made from all natural organic ingredients. They do not contain any synthetic fragrances, chemicals, preservatives, artificial ingredients, parabens, sulfates, and gluten. Some key ingredients that you will find a lot in our products are Rose water, Neroli essential oil, Jojoba oil, Rosehip seed oil, Pomegranate seed oil, Sea Buckthorn seed oil and many others. These ingredients are truly healing and hydrating to the skin. They help heal inflammation, soothe the skin, regenerate cells, hydrate, detox, and more.
